International photographic competition “UN MARE DI SCATTI “

After the successful and appreciated edition of “UN MARE DI SCATTI 2008” photographic competition, “www.bludigitale.it”, a website promoting events in the field of culture, sport and spare time activities, in association with “Le Marinelle” company and A.C.F.N. (national, cultural, photographic association) proposes

"UN MARE DI SCATTI 2009"

This event aims at collecting the free thoughts of each competitor and synthesizing them in the visual art of photography. This year the competition will take into account the exhibition visitors’ photographs as well as the photos by the visitors of web site Photo-Gallery, according to the variety of the pictures and the realistic representation of the often sharp daily reality. The topic of the competition is “The Sea” considered in various ways: places, people, events, traditions, without excluding the underwater world. The photographic competition is open to any competitors because creativity, sensibility and originality are the indispensable ingredients to make lively this edition of “UN MARE DI SCATTI 2009” competition.

RULES OF THE COMPETITION

• Beginning of the competition: Saturday, 18th July 2009 (from Midnight.)
• Ending of competition: Friday, 18th September 2009 (at Midnight.)
• Meeting of judges: Sunday, 20th September 2009
• Prize-giving ceremony and inauguration of the photographic exhibition: Saturday, 26th September 2009
• Ending of exhibition: Saturday, 31st October 2009

The pictures in a single division, can be either color or black and white photos.
The participation for amateur and professional photographers is free.
The modalities of participation to the competition are only telematics.
Only after the compulsory enrollment, pictures will be sent , visualized and voted on line.
It will be also possible to check the voting list in progress.
Photographers must indicate their name, surname, title of each photo and fill in any other further required information, when the photo will be put on line. The photos (max 3 ) must be “jpeg” pictures, maximum 3 MB size. Photographers are personally responsible for the content of their photos.
All communications to photographers will be sent by e-mail.
Qualified judges will value and give a prize to the photos received. The prize-giving ceremony and the exhibition will take place in the areas of the tourist port in San Salvo (CH).
