1.Photographs in a single division can be either colour or black and white pictures. Judges will exclude all manipulated pictures either by graphic programmes or retouching. 2.The Sea is the topic of the competition and competitors are expected to take into account places, people, events and traditions without excluding the underwater world, in order to communicate through their pictures peculiar moments and personal impressions. 3. Participation to the competition is free and either professional or amateur photographers in Italy or abroad can join it. Each competitor is expected to provide no more than three [3] photographs maximum 3MB size. By joining the competition, competitors must accept the following rules entirely. 4.Each photographer must register with www.bludigitale.it web site. The home page will provide all the instructions along with the information about: • How to enrol for “Un Mare di Scatti 2009” competition • How to send pictures (from 1 to 3 photos maximum 3 MB size) in different times, too. • How to vote the favourite photograph on line (each picture can receive from 1 to 5 points) • How to check the list with the votes in progress through the Photo –Gallery • How to receive all the necessary information about the event by e-mail • How to visit the exhibition and take part to the prize-giving ceremony 5. To join the competition, competitors must communicate a valid e-mail address in order to receive a notification link to be clicked for confirmation which will enable both the sending and receiving of all the necessary information about the competition. Competitors cannot join the competition without registration with www.bludigitale.it web site 6.Competitors can join the competition only on line, including enrolment, sending and voting activities. A protection system will prevent the access to unregistered members. Any works using a different means of transmission or registration with www.bludigitale.it web site will not be accepted. 7.When loading the web site with their works, photographers must indicate their name and surname, the title of each picture and fill in any further required information. “jpeg format photographs, maximum 3MB size can be sent in different moments too, yet no later than 18th July 2009 at midnight. 8. Immediately after loading the web site with the photographs, the pictures will appear in “ UN MARE DI SCATTI 2009 “ on line Photo-Gallery . Visitors or regularly registered members will be allowed to express their preference with a single vote from 1 to 5 points for each published work. The Photo- Gallery will enable visitors to follow the voting list in progress. 9.Registration with the web site can be made any time as it is independent from the participation to the competition. The enrolment to the photographic competition, along with the sending of the works, will take place from 18th July 2009 at midnight, the beginning date of “ UN MARE DI SCATTI 2009 “ photographic competition. 10. Both the enrolment and the sending of photograph will be possible until 18th September 2009 at midnight, the ending date of the competition. From that moment onward, either the sending of photographs or the voting activities will no longer be possible. 11.On 18th September 2009 at midnight, all the received works will be assessed by a qualified jury that will count the on line votes along with the points received from the judges [50% for on line votes, 50% for the jury’s votes] and announce the winners. Prizes will be given to works ranked from the first to the third place. Further prizes will be taken into account according to rules of the competition and the judges’ decision. 12. All works received from 18th July 2009 at midnight till 18th September 2009 at midnight will be voted on the www.bludigitale.it web site. The organizing committee reserves the right to stop both the enrolments and the voting activities any time due to technical, organizing or legal problems. All works by the competitors previously registered will be valued according to the competition rules and the judges’ decision. 13.The Jury’s decision is final and definitive 14.Photographers are responsible for the content of their works. The webmaster, in his job to supervise the on line works, can prevent the publication of those photographs disregarding the rules of public decency and decorum. 15. According to the law no. 165/2003, competitors registered with www.bludigitale.it web site give their consent to dealing with their personal data for the aims of the competition. Authors will keep the paternity of their works that will be always mentioned when referring to their photographs. Besides, by joining the competition photographers give their consent to the publication of their works either on editorial publishing or the web sites for free. Competitors will be sent the final result of the competition by e-mail. Any information about the event and the photographs will be published on the following web sites that are going to respect the paternity of the works by always mentioning their title, their author’s name and surname:

The works taking part to “UN MARE DI SCATTI 2009” exhibition will be seen at areas made available by “Le Marinelle company in San Salvo [CH] tourist port ” until 31st October 2009.
The printed photographs, in consideration of their given title and author, will be given back to their owners provided they will arrange the collection on their own at San Salvo [CH] tourist port , after end of the exhibition.
Uncollected photographs will be kept and exhibited at the Tourist port secretary that will be in charge of them. The organizing committee will communicate the victory to winners by using the e-mail address given at the time of the registration. From that moment onward, winners will have thirty [30] days to answer the received communication. Absence of any given answer will be considered as “rejection of the prize”
